If I have a free consultation and then decide not to use your services for any reason, is the consultation still free?

Yes, the consultation in which we gather information about your pets and answer any questions you may have is ALWAYS free.

Are any discounts available?

Yes, there is a ten percent discount for assignments of eight or more days. Discounted rates are also available on monthly dog walking. Check the web site often for other special offers. Also, please do not hesitate to call to check on a price.

Is there a charge if I cancel a scheduled visit?

No, if you cancel five days before your scheduled service. If you cancel with less than five days notice, the cancellation fee is only $5.

Are you a licensed pet sitter?

There is actually no such thing as a pet sitting license. Anyone can call him or herself a petsitter without any type of approval from the local, state, or national government.

What is the difference between a Certified Pet Sitting Technician and a Registered Veterinary Technician?

A Certified Pet Sitting Technician has taken a course through the mail offered by Pet Sitters International (or possibly another organization)and must renew periodically with additional correspondence work.

To become a Registered Veterinary Technician, a person must complete a full-time two-year course of study. Registration is through the state veterinary medical licensing board. Hands-on experience is required to obtain a degree in veterinary technology. Continuing education is also required to maintain licensure.
